Refund policy

RECEIPT OF PRODUCTS AND CLAIMS

Fortenday does not accept any liability for delays in the delivery of products. Upon delivery of the order by our courier, the recipient or customer is required to check the integrity of the package and that the number of packages delivered corresponds to the number indicated on the delivery note. Any damages to the packaging and/or product or discrepancies in the number of packages or details must be immediately reported by writing a CONTROL RESERVE (SPECIFYING THE REASON FOR THE RESERVE, e.g. "packaging punctured", "packaging crushed", etc.) on the courier’s delivery proof. Once the courier document has been signed, the Customer cannot make any claims regarding the external characteristics of the goods delivered. In the event of discrepancies, please inform the courier by accepting the parcel with a RESERVE FOR DAMAGED PACKAGE and report it to us immediately via the Contact Us section or by email to info@fortenday.com. The customer is directly responsible for the truthfulness of every statement sent. If it is impossible to deliver the parcel (for example, due to an incorrect address provided or the recipient being absent) and the parcel is returned to us, the sender, the related shipping costs will be borne by the purchaser, including those for a further shipment. Therefore, a telephone number is mandatory for the completion of delivery.

RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

Internet sales of products are governed by Articles 45 to 67 of Legislative Decree 206/2005 (Consumer Code). This legislation grants the consumer the right to withdraw from contracts, allowing them to return the purchased product and obtain a refund of the amount paid (excluding Paypal/bank fees and shipping costs). The costs of returning the product are borne by the Customer. The Customer has a period of 14 (fourteen) calendar days to return the product. Within this period, the Customer must send the goods to Fortenday Via Lucania, 39 – 30174, Venice, in the original packaging. Upon receipt of the returned goods, Fortenday reserves the right to inspect them before issuing a refund to verify that they are in the same condition as when shipped. If the product is found to be tampered with, damaged or used, the refund cannot be full. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns of promotional items or gift vouchers.
